Our Year 5 and Year 6 Careers Fair was a fantastic success, providing our pupils with an inspiring and memorable opportunity to explore the exciting world of work.
We were delighted to welcome a wide range of professionals from our local community, who generously gave their time to talk to the children about their careers. Pupils had the chance to ask questions, learn about different job roles, discover the qualifications and skills needed for a variety of careers, and hear first-hand about what a typical working day looks like.
From healthcare and public services to construction, business, technology, the creative industries and many more, our children were fascinated by the breadth of opportunities available to them. The interactive displays, equipment and demonstrations made the experience both engaging and enjoyable, helping pupils to make meaningful links between their learning in school and future career aspirations.
The enthusiasm and curiosity shown by our pupils throughout the event was wonderful to see. They left feeling inspired, motivated and excited about the many possibilities that lie ahead, with a greater understanding that there are many different pathways to success.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the parents, carers and local professionals who supported our Careers Fair. Their willingness to share experiences has helped broaden our pupils’ horizons and encouraged them to dream big about their ‘Bright Futures’.
