Tree Tots
Within Early Years we ensure the children have a safe and happy place to learn, work, and play. Children are guided on a nurturing journey enabling them to become confident, inquisitive, imaginative, and empathetic learners. The fully inclusive and personalised curriculum promotes independence and encourages children to embrace challenges and to persevere. Children will develop their metacognitive knowledge of how they learn-their knowledge of themselves as learners, of strategies, and of tasks. We believe there is no limit to what children can achieve, with determination, hard work, and a positive attitude anything is possible.

๐ฟโจ What a lovely week in Treetots! โจ๐ฟ
Weโve been busy exploring our environment, having lots of fun and making special memories together! ๐ Weโve been building strong, trusting relationships with our grown-ups and growing in confidence as we begin to build friendships and connections with our peers. ๐ซถ
Weโve also had lots of fun sharing our story of the week, *Whales on the Bus* ๐ณ๐, enjoying the rhymes, exploring the pictures and sharing lots of smiles along the way!
So many little moments, big achievements and wonderful learning experiences! ๐ฑ๐
๐งฑโจ Throw, aim, celebrate! ๐ชฃ
Today our Tree Tots created their own simple throwing game using foam bricks and buckets. We developed gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, balance, aiming and spatial awareness โ all while having lots of fun!
What made us especially proud was seeing that, when the adults stepped away, the children continued the game independently, taking turns, having a go and celebrating their own achievements and those of their friends. ๐ฅฐ๐
It was wonderful to see their confidence, curiosity and sense of pride shine through as they took ownership of their play. ๐

A huge thank you to all the dads, grandads, and special father figures who joined us for our Fatherโs Day Stay and Play on Thursday.
It was wonderful to see you spending quality time with your little ones, exploring activities, making memories, and sharing lots of smiles and laughter together. These special moments help strengthen relationships and create experiences that children will cherish.
Thank you for taking the time to be part of our session and for making it such a lovely event. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! ๐
Park days are the best days ๐ฟ
We took our Tree Tots out for a little adventure, and it couldnโt have gone better! From enjoying a relaxed snack together on the grass to exploring all the different play equipment, the children were full of curiosity, energy, and big smiles.
Climbing, sliding, balancing, and plenty of giggles along the wayโitโs amazing how much learning happens through simple outdoor play. Moments like these help build confidence, coordination, and friendships too.

Happy St Georgeโs Day from our Tree Tots!
Yesterday the children got creative by designing and making their very own shields in our creative area ๐ก๏ธโจ The children explored colours, shapes and patterns while proudly creating something uniquely their own.
We also gathered together for a short story about St George, where the children enjoyed listening and beginning to understand the tradition behind the day ๐

It was so special to see you spending time in the classroom, sharing smiles, laughter, and precious moments with your little ones. These experiences mean so much to the childrenโ having you there helps build their confidence, strengthens their sense of security, and supports their social and emotional development.
Playing together in their learning environment also helps children feel proud and excited to show you what they do each day, while deepening that all-important bond between home and nursery.
We loved having you with us and hope you enjoyed it just as much as the children did! ๐
Today at Tree Toys, our little learners enjoyed the wonderful story *Oliverโs Vegetables*! ๐ฅ๐
After reading, we brought the story to life with a trip to our local Tesco, where the children explored and found the vegetables from the book. ๐๐ฅ
This hands-on experience helped the children recognise, name, and recall different vegetables while making meaningful connections between stories and the real world.
A fun and engaging way to build confidence, language skills, and curiosity about healthy foods! ๐ฝโจ
